I spoke with Andrew Schlabach earlier in the week over skype. He is the founder of The Acupuncture Relief Project and we had a great conversation about ideas and trainings for the future. Good news is he is definitely open to collaborating and potentially partnering up should I find that launching a pilot project in SE ASIA is in the cards for me. Other news is I will be attending their full immersion program in September (which is significantly more pricey than the other less supported program and will cost closer to $3300 to attend instead of $850). The clinical skills obtained via this program are invaluable and will be carried with me throughout my profession so I am trekking along as planned but with a little more expenses. I'm trying to not let this hinder my plans. Things will work out how and when they are supposed to, so I am continuing to manifest that the Great Acupuncture Adventure is well on it's way to becoming a reality. I am very excited to volunteer throughout SE Asia when and where ever I can, working where possible and taking in the life lessons that the world has to offer. In other news- Amma was this past weekend and it was so amazing to share such a powerful experience with so many wonderful people. This year I brought two people who had never been before and I am proud of them for sticking it out in to the wee hours of the morning. We all received Darshan and it was a very special encounter for me (I think the two I brought thought so too!) I can only hope to have that kind of impact on people's lives, granted it'll take more than a hug, but a new vision for the project is "Aspire to Inspire" which is unfortunately the motto for some hat and clothing company, so I'll have to figure out the logistics of using it legally. Anyway! Thanks for reading- I really appreciate your support and friendship.
Thank you Benjamin Brown for your donation of $50. This brings me one step closer to booking the flight to China. Much appreciated!
The past decade of growth is finally reaching a serious culmination point. Graduation is a mere nine months away and it is time to get the ball rolling on post-educational planning. As many of you already know, acupuncture is the part of my soul I have always been searching for and am oh so happy to have found. There have been a few hurdles to jump here and there, but against all odds, I am almost there! Granted, what is to come next is both ominously looming and exciting at the same time, but I know that I am on the right path to self-realiziation and living out my dreams. I look forward to helping people far and wide, as well as treating many of you- my friends and family. Thank you for reading and being a part of this. Having you in my life has been a blessing and I am grateful for all of you each and every day. |
